Kūkulu Switchboard facilitates connections between philanthropy and community, and enables timely resource exchange through a human-operated digital interface. The prototype platform increases community capacity by connecting nonprofits and socially minded innovators with resources like funding, technical assistance and potential partners in a transparent, equitable way. This tech tool rooted in the cultural values and strengths of Hawaiʻi builds capacity in the philanthropic and social sectors by providing a representative landscape of needs and opportunities. Kūkulu fosters cross-sector, out-of-the-box, impact focused solutions that will create abundance for Hawaiʻi going forward.
